About the author
Eby Mathew lives in Perth, Western Australia, and he loves building things. Not with bricks and hammers — with ideas. For years he has started and grown businesses, helping small companies find their feet and working alongside teams from different countries. People who know him call him a serial entrepreneur, which is a fancy way of saying he can't stop starting new things.
But here's what Eby learned along the way: every big thing begins with one small step. A new business starts with one idea and one brave try. Mistakes happen, plans change, and you keep going. And he noticed that walking with God works the same way — not by being perfect, but by taking the next honest step, again and again.
That's why he wrote Walk It Out with God. He wanted young readers aged 9 to 15 to know that faith isn't only for Sundays or for grown-ups with all the answers. It's for school mornings, group chats, sport, family dinners and the moments when you feel unsure. Across twenty chapters, Sam, Asha, Finn, Ruby and Eli face real situations, and each chapter pairs their story with Bible readings, practical Walk It Out steps, questions and a short prayer.
For parents, carers and church leaders, Eby brings the same practical mindset he uses in business: keep it clear, keep it useful, and make it easy to start. There's no set pace, readers can always pass on a question, and a guide at the back helps adults read along. Eby's hope is simple — that every reader takes one small step closer to Jesus. He'd love to hear from you at eby@wowgod.au.
