AI-powered book questions
Adult parents, carers and church leaders can submit a question about the book. The question, selected adult audience and relevant book details are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to an AI provider to generate an answer. Please do not include names, contact details or personal information about children.
We do not save questions or answers as a conversation in our website database or browser storage. The question and answer remain on the page until you leave or ask another question. Service providers may process request content and retain operational logs under their own service terms; processing may occur outside Australia. This is not a promise of zero retention by every service provider.
We store only service-availability information when AI access is blocked; this does not include your question, answer or topic choices. AI answers are not counselling, safeguarding advice or professional advice, and should be checked against the book details and sample.
About this policy
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, which promotes the book Walk It Out with God by Eby Mathew.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you visit from another country, we aim to apply the same standards to you.
This website is informational. We keep data collection to a minimum and do not sell or rent personal information.
Information we collect
We do not require an account, sign-up or subscription to use this website.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical details (such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and the date and time of your visit) in server logs for security and performance purposes.
If you contact us by email or our adult enquiry forms, we receive your name, email address, optional organisation and message. Form submissions also record the source page, your adult confirmation and submission time, and are stored privately in Lovable Cloud for Eby Mathew to review. Please do not include children's names or sensitive personal information.
If a purchase link is followed, the purchase is completed on the retailer's or publisher's own website under their own privacy policy. We do not receive payment or order details.
How we use information
We use technical log information to keep the website secure, fix faults and understand overall traffic.
We use information you send us by email or enquiry form only to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow it up. We keep enquiries only as long as needed for that purpose and any applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us.
We do not use personal information for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
Children
This website is written for adults, including parents, carers, teachers and leaders, although the book itself is for readers aged 9–15.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Children should check with a parent, carer or trusted adult before sending us anything online.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This website does not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers.
If optional analytics are enabled, they are used only to count page views in aggregate and do not identify you personally. You can browse the whole website with this basic setting and no other tracking takes place.
Disclosure and storage
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website (for example website hosting and error monitoring), which may involve storage on servers located outside Australia.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
You may also contact us if you have a concern about how we have handled your information. We aim to respond to all requests within a reasonable time.
If you are in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the website changes. The current version is always published on this page.
