Faith with Other People · Chapter 9
Choosing What Is Right
Chapter summary
Asha's friends pressure her to enter a fenced building site for a photograph. Remembering a refusal practised with her cousin, she says no, walks to a busy bus stop, and calls her mum. She reports her friends' dangerous plan so an adult can arrange appropriate help. One friend follows her; others remain annoyed. Daniel's example supports thoughtful, respectful faithfulness without promising easy outcomes, while the teaching on temptation highlights available ways to resist. Readers should rehearse a refusal, arrange a safe contact and journey home, test uncertain choices against truth, love and safety, and leave dangerous situations. After wrongdoing, they can stop, tell the truth and seek help.
