Keep Walking and Growing · Chapter 17
Questions God Can Handle
Chapter summary
After Zara challenges his belief in an unseen God, Sam worries that unanswered questions make him a poor Christian. His youth leader Daniel welcomes the questions, answers some and proposes researching others together. Sam returns to Zara ready to admit uncertainty and listen. The chapter uses a struggling father, Thomas and the Scripture-examining Bereans to show that faith can include honest inquiry. Readers write one genuine question, arrange an unhurried discussion with a safe, thoughtful adult, and read relevant biblical passages in context. Strong feelings alone do not establish truth. Respectful conversations need not become competitions, and trustworthy guidance should build understanding rather than pressure agreement. Learning and ordinary faithful actions can continue while answers take time.
